Late Shri Harbeer Kasana ji, (1953-2006)

Late Shri Harbeer Kasana ji,

First, It’ll need patience to read abt him, but I can assure u it’ll be intresting…
Well...U'll be surprised to know the achievements of our own Harbir kasana. Here we go.....
First of all.. He was a throughout TOPPER.
He got 9th position in class 10th in U.P. board...
Got 7th position in class 12th in U.P. board
Abandoned his
B.Sc. in between....completed later...
Got selected in mihir Bhoj degree college dadri but Left it before joining due to some baising...
Got selected in "IIT Roorkee" as dept head and taught there....
Taught in BITS Pilani (As dept. head)....
Was in All India advisory board for Mathematics...
contd...look for next scrap!!!!

And now the bigger ones...
Selected for Indian representation of Advanced Mathematics for United Nations Maths Council. An unbelievable feat....
Taught as maths professor at Sweden University. Hailed as one of the best maths professors to teach ever in Sweden...
Taught in abt 13 nations all over globe, a commendable feat by any means....
Over 100 students did their Ph.D. in maths under him. Tremendous work....
His books on Algebra are taught world over, including Swede Univ & DU, IIT etc...(I've also read one)
Some other unknown folkfores abt him....
When he was in class 12th in K.R. Inter college, chirori, he had some issue with Ashok kumar sir(of maths). So he was misunderstood by him as egoist & proudy. When the annual practical examinor of physics came in college, Ashok sir told him to have a tough viva of Harbir. After the viva, Examinor was speechless. What he told Ashok sir was,

"Sir, in my whole teaching career, I've never seen a student like Harbir. Their are some things which I learnt from him today. He is unmatchable..." And after that he topped U.P. Board to make Ashok sir proud...Another one is also interesting when, in Sweden, he was asked by a professor that "Sir,what's it in u that we don't have. While our lectures are met with a cold response from the students,All the students are more than eager to attend ur classes. Ur classes are always full while ours are empty. Tell us the magic u have done on the students." So was his charm that he was popular even on foreign soil...

He was very humorous & fun loving. He didn't get married.Unfortunately, He died at an early age of 52 by brain haemorrhage...thus depriving us from the sea of knowledge he had. All his research work in his computer was sealed and it was a big loss for our community specially and for India in general...
As it is getting some cumbersome, i would like to stop here. I think it is enough for u to understand what a great personality he was. Had he been alive, he could have been a hell lot of good for us. You definitely must be wondering how i know so much abt him. Actually he was my Papa's best friend and used to come to our home whenever got time. So it was like a personal shock for me when i heard abt his untimely demise. I wonder how can our community miss such a great hero. I'm surprised that no one knows abt his achievements in even Jawli, left alone othe Finally a sincere urge, Please spread a word about him in your friends circle, relatives and wherever you can, so that people of at least our community know abt such a legend. Forward this msg across and let others know that we also had someone to boast of...

What their students thinks abt him:

Achin Gupta -
what shud i tell abt him.he was a ideal man for me.i remember it was the first day of the 2nd semester lecture 3rd ,it was in F-101 when sir came in .he was not so properly dressed as a professor shud be. unshaved man wearing specs with big glasses, hair not properly combed having 3 attendence register in his hand . with his unnatural motion of his hands and varying tone of his voice he seemed to me a interesting person but but but before i continued with the same he started " my name is H.S.Kasana and ask any of your seniors they call me """"""""""""KASAI"""""""""""" ". |||||||||||||KASAI||||||||||||||||. have i heard it properly. immediately i was feared of this man and i took him to be a person never to even talk to. but i was wrong. he was an ideal for me and will remain ever .
i am here but he is no more . he is lost but he will be there with us always with his memories .
will keep on sharing more memories with you all guys.

Shashank aggarwal- my experiences with that man were different from rest of the people.

he was our family friend. i had a word with him in the morning on 2nd may.
i have spent a lot of time with him. dined with him at his place, shown him places of delhi n wat not.
my whole family respected him like anything n seriously his demise came a shock to each one of us.
i can keep on going if i have to talk abt him!
a legend n will always be a legend!
n trust me, our college sucks on these things!

Abhay Goyal- When someone you care for becomes a memory,

The memory becomes a treasure….

A personality who will forever be remembered as an epitome of devotion, a legend in more ways than one
, Dr. Harvir Singh Kasana left for his heavenly abode on the 3rd of May, 2006. His untimely sad demise
left us and this institute with a bundle of memories. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memory of
the person who was widely regarded as one of India’s premier mathematicians. A distinguished member
of world renowned mathematical societies, Dr. H.S Kasana ‘s brilliance was acknowledged across the
seven seas. In 1995, Dr. Kasana joined TIET, Patiala after a brief stint at the Uppsala University,
Sweden from 1989-1990. He served as the head of the School of Mathematics and Computer Applications
at TIET, Patiala from 2002 to 2005. He had been nominated as 'Senior Associate' by UNESCO through
International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Italy for a period of six years (2002 - 2007). He also
worked as 'Visiting Professor' at Mathematisches forschungs Institut, Oberwolfach Germany, during 2003
. His topics of research interest were Complex Analysis, Approximation Theory, and Optimization
Techniques. He has authored a book entitled Introductory Operations Research, published by

India is the richest country in the world!

Right now, India is the richest country in the world! Wondering how? It's really amazing.

(1) It's due to Mr. G Vaidyaraj, who donated all his wealth, about which he actually did not know.

He is a descendent of Raja Krishnadev Raya from Mysore district.

For the last 300 years or so, three stones were worshipped in his house. But nobody tried to see what it was, except this person, who is a
lawyer by profession. One day, when there was nobody in his house, he took the stone out to see what it was that they worship.
Due to the dust deposited on it, from many many years, it looked only like a simple stone.
But when he touched it, some portion of the stone was cleansed.
And he saw a bright ray of light.
He saw something which attracted his attention. And he was amazed when he cleaned all of them. The whole room was filled with light.
He discovered they were diamonds of about 4600 carats each.

He informed the Govt. of India and the news is censored with its security.
It's now deposited in a Swiss Bank.
The cost of single diamond exceeds the GDP of USA + UK .

Even World Bank does not have enough money to buy it.
India can buy virtually 7 developing nations.

One diamond costs thrice the debt of World Bank over India .

One such diamond can buy 10 Bill Gates to you.
And the World Bank has proposed the Indian Govt. that it can pay India in Installment if it wishes to do so.

India 's GDP is 34.25 billion dollars.

Bill Gates property is 95 billion dollars approximate so that is the way 'nature changes'.

Our Prime Minister has refused to sell it.

He said it will be sold or mortgaged for credit when we need it. Otherwise right now we have no problems.

You can go through Times of India with a small column on it a week ago.

Star TV presented a 115 min documentary on it about 15 days ago.

The Hindu with its half page article in it.

After that it was censored as classified.

(2) Another good news is that in the Desert of Thar a deposit of Oil and
Natural gas have been found.. This stores what Kuwait has in its stomach.

India can go with this ONGC energy reserve with another 30 years.
And moreover it can export it to other counties.
It's incredible!! But true.

(3) An Indian boy in his 12th standard has disproved Einstein's 'Theory of Relativity'.
Shocked? Read on...

Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a sub-atomic particle, which can travel at speed greater than that of light, thereby challenging one of the fundamental postulates of the 'Theory of Relativity'.

In his recent research paper submitted to the Institute of Advanced Physics (IAP) at Trieste ( Italy ), Sudarshan has proved the existence of a class of sub-atomic particles called leptons', which can travel faster than light.
The international physics community is shocked by this discovery.

Dr.Massimo Martelli, President of the IAP has this to say about the paper submitted by Sudarshan. 'After long, careful and critical analysis, I can confidently say that Sudarshan's research papers show tremendous leap in our understanding of physics. His investigation
mounts up on 'leptons'... His work builds substantially on the work of Einstein and others in the field of relativity.'
When physicists from Princeton University tried to measure Sudarshan's IQ with an IQ-meter (at the American Embassy in Delhi ), the meter broke down.
Sudarshan, incidentally, is the brother of Madhu Reddy, the Indian whiz kid who developed an operating system superior to Microsoft Windows.
We should all be very proud of these boys.

Please forward this email to as many Indians and also the Americans who think Indians are Poor !!! .....

Jai Hind !!!!

Bharatiya samaaj ka sanskritik aadhar jo aaj kal sankat ke daur se gujar raha hai

so, plz put ur hand together to save our holy Gau mata from this hard betrayel prevailing in our country forward this message to all your hindu friends as well to the ears of this blind government who is sitting in centre idealy & doing nothing .

& Again

Don't Quit

Don't Quit

"When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill.
When funds are low and the debts are high.
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out:

Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not QUIT.

अपनी पुस्तक "TAJ MAHAL - THE TRUE STORY" द्वारा इस
